April 16, 2014 (Austria)- Only several months after a ROLAND 707 LV HS was installed at the Offsetdruckerei Schwarzach GmbH plant, the well-known Austrian printing company made a swift and bold move: it purchased another one that is equipped with UV. 

The two acquisitions bring up the total ordered number of Manroland Sheetfed ROLAND 700 at Offsetdruckerei Schwarzach GmbH over 80 units – solid proof of a close partnership built on trust and consistent ability to deliver great results.

 Mr. Ewald Fischer, General Manager of Offsetdruckerei Schwarzach GmbH, said the outstanding performance of the newly installed ROLAND 707 LV HS had made it easy for them to decide on an additional purchase in so short a time. 

Offsetdruckerei Schwarzach GmbH is a prestigious packaging and label printer in Austria. With more than a century of experience in packaging printing, it has received not only the certifications for FSC / PEFC, climate-neutral printing and ECOPROFIT, but also numerous rewards. It has won both the Embalissimo and the Apprentice European Championship, among others.  Following the installation of the ROLAND 707 LV HS, Mr. Knapp, Chief Technology Officer said they experienced a big jump in Quality and  in particular quality assurance. “With the new installation just several months ago, we invested in the InlineColorPilot and the InlineInspector 2.0 with PDF verification down to 4pts text, that helped us to deliver sheets in the requested quality and to ensure the highest level of print quality over the whole job.” With all experiences the new machine was identically equipped with these features. “Furthermore we have increased our environmental consciousness, because the reduction of wastepaper is dramatically reduced. Additionally through the new technology of the installed dryers we could reduce the energy consumption.” 

Mr. Fischer added: “The rapid developments in the Manroland machines over the last two years not only surprised us, but also exceeded our expectations. Our operators are happy as the presses are so easy to use and they deliver the highest quality at the fastest possible printing speed.” Mr. Joser, chief financial officer, declared: “This new investment was actually planned for the next year, but was taken earlier now because of the outstanding performance and quality of the machine.''
